Kourosh Beigpour
Based in Los Angeles, Kourosh Beigpour is an award-winning graphic artist and designer celebrated for his extensive portfolio that adeptly blends contemporary and traditional design elements. Born in Kermanshah, Iran, and of Kurdish descent, Kourosh’s rich cultural heritage and profound influence from mysticism significantly shape his artistic vision.
Kourosh earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003 from the Tehran University of Art, one of Asia’s most esteemed art institutions. He embarked on his professional journey in Iran, working across corporate roles and as an independent artist, before relocating to Malaysia. There, he pursued and obtained a Master of Fine Arts in International Contemporary Art and Design from Limkokwing University.
In 2011, Kourosh moved to the United States and founded K-B Studio in Los Angeles, where he quickly garnered a reputation for excellence. His distinguished clientele includes global giants such as Google, The Broad, Getty, and Powerhouse Museums, alongside Canada Type. Kourosh has also forged significant collaborations with a multitude of academic and cultural institutions, including Stanford, UCI, UCLA, NEIU, and OSU.
Currently, Kourosh is advancing his expertise in type design through his studies at TypeWest, continuing to refine his skills and innovate within the realm of typographic design.
